Terms of use
Nastan is a browser tool for building marble races and exporting them as videos. These terms say what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. Using Nastan means you accept them.

1. The service
Nastan lets you build a course, run a marble race and export the result as a video file that you download to your own device. Racing and rendering happen in your browser. A free tier and a paid Pro tier exist; what each includes is described on the pricing section and inside the editor.
2. Using Nastan without an account
You may use the editor and export videos without an account, within the limits shown in the editor. Work that is not saved to an account lives only in your browser and we cannot recover it for you.
3. Accounts
An account lets you save courses and images to the cloud and subscribe to Pro. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account dialog in the editor.
4. Pro subscription
Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown at checkout, through our payment provider Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account → Manage billing; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If a price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you in advance.
If something went wrong with a charge, write to contact@nastan.io and we will sort it out with you.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in images and other content that you upload ("User Content"). You grant Nastan a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, technically process, resize, encode, transform and render your User Content only as necessary to provide the Nastan features that you request, including saving your project and generating a video for you. Nastan will not make your User Content available to other users except where you expressly choose a sharing or publication feature.
6. Your responsibility
You represent and warrant that you own the User Content or have all rights, permissions and consents required for your use of it in Nastan and for any video that you publish elsewhere. You must not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, or that violates applicable law. Nastan does not supply, and does not grant rights in, third-party characters, logos, celebrities or other protected material.
7. Publishing your videos
The videos you export are yours to post. Free exports carry a Nastan watermark; Pro exports do not. If you download, publish or send a video to TikTok, YouTube or another service, you are responsible for checking that the images, music, names, likenesses and other material in that video may lawfully be used and published there.
8. Complaints and removal
If you believe an image, video or other material available through Nastan infringes your copyright or another legal right, send a sufficiently detailed notice to contact@nastan.io. Identify the protected work, the exact Nastan item or account involved, the reason for the complaint, your contact details, and a good-faith confirmation that the information is accurate and complete. We will review the identified item and, where appropriate, restrict access to it or remove it. We may contact the uploader for clarification and may provide a review process. False or deliberately abusive notices are not permitted.
Nastan may restrict access to, disable or remove User Content when it receives a sufficiently detailed rights complaint, a valid legal order, or otherwise reasonably believes the content is unlawful or violates these terms. Nastan may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload infringing or unlawful content. Where appropriate, Nastan will give the affected user the reason and the available review or appeal options.
9. Fair use of the service
Do not attempt to circumvent the limits of your plan, interfere with the service, or use automated means to overload it. Do not use Nastan to produce content that is unlawful.
10. Availability and liability
Nastan is a small, independent product. We work to keep it available and correct, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will say so in the editor or by email before it takes effect. The current version is always at nastan.io/terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
